So these little precious things arrived recently! I purchase two of the new Viseart petite fours palettes. They are so stinking cute. But lets talk about performance – The colors and composition of these are gorgeous. They are not however, “..Sydney Grace (SG) composition”. By that I mean that you get instant color and payoff when you use SG. The Viseart colors and very, very light. You can build them up to get a darker shade but I don’t think you will get a really deep shade doing this. I used all four shades of “Chocolat” today. I wet the color “ganache” to use as my liner. One of my favorite shades is in the Framboise palette and is called “Glacage” and it’s just gorgeous!

Overall I like these. They are great for travel or storing in your purse for touch ups. I love the size – you can hold it in your hand while using your eye shadow brush. Many of the colors go on better/deeper either using your finger to apply or by wetting your brush and dipping it into the color, then applying. They are well priced. They make a nice entree into a high end brand.

Drawback – not a broad range of shades between palettes. These ‘may’ be best used with another palette.

If you have a chance to pick these up I would highly recommend it!
