I tried out my new Pat McGrath Bronze Ambition palette today. I had done a test swatch on my lids prior and decided, based on that swatch, that I would use a matte shade from another palette. (Too Faced Natural Matte). I used a combo of Heaven and Nude Goals as my base. I also used Cleavage as a transition shade. From the Pat McGrath palette I used Throwing Shade & Illicit in crease and outer end of eye. Added in some Gold Rush and Bronze Rush in center blending to inside corner of eye.

I’m very pleased with this palette. I would NOT use a heavy hand if you have texture of any kind as it may accentuate any textured surfaces. You can build this up if you choose. The colors are rich and there is a ton of payoff with all colors.

There are a few other palettes I would pair it with just to give it more variation. They are Too Faced Natural Matte, Anastasia of Beverly Hills Master Palette by Mario and Milani Most Loved Matte Palette.
