Don’t you love quick, easy and cost efficient projects that still make an impact? Isn’t it nice to have a small cache of ready made, beautiful decor to give to others? This is a perfect gift for teachers, Home health care workers, service people, babysitters, coaches, neighbors, delivery people. This project fits the bill nicely and is so cost efficient. (My total cost to make this was around $4.00)

The items you need to make this are from Dollar Tree and Hobby Lobby (only the plaid paper came from Hobby Lobby. Everything else was from the Dollar Tree.) You will need a sign as shown, a strip of artificial Christmas tree, ribbon and paper of your choice as shown. You will also need scissors and mod podge or glue.

Directions:

  • Use paper of your choice and cut a piece equal in size to the cut out word(s). Mod podge or glue this to the back of the sign with the parrern showing through the word.
  • This sign came with a small ribbon around the jar neck. I did not care for it so I removed it and replaced it with a larger print fabric and used hot glue and placed it around the neck. Once that was dry I glued a strip of artificial Christmas tree on top of that. To finish it off, I made two bows and glued them onto the right hand side of the jar.

ENJOY!
