I was really on the fence about this new palette created by Wayne Goss as I already have so many similar palettes. In Wayne’s introductory demo of this palette, he mentioned that he targeted/tested it with the 40 to 60+ year old women in mind. This intrigued me because not many companies test or target for that age range. Additionally I watched Lisa J’s video as she tested this product, and she commented that these were great for mature or textured skin. I decided to go for it and order it.
When my palette arrived I used all the colors in several test runs and I must say I am completely in love with this palette! The colors are absolutely gorgeous and the formula of the product is exquisite. I am 68 and I can tell you that this palette looks amazing on my skin.
I have never held the belief that women over a certain age should not wear a shimmer or a color or whatever. Certainly there are shimmers of glitters that can make anyone’s skin look the worse for wear. That said, Wayne‘s new palette makes mature and/or textured skin look awesome!
Initially, I wasn’t sure how I would use the black shadow. After putting it into a few looks, I am absolutely in love with it. You can use a very light hand with it and blend it in the crease and corner of your eye or smoke it out under your eye. You can make it lighter or darker as you deem necessary. It’s an absolutely gorgeous matte shade not only in terms of color but in formulation. I have used it with the copper and warm brown shade and the three together are amazing! The champagne shadow is probably one of my favorites. It looks gorgeous alone and provides a very gossamer look to your eye but you can also use it as a topper or to blend with any of the other colors and it does nothing but add to them.
